Based in Nelson, Lancashire, Riggs Autopack Ltd is an award-winning manufacturer of depositors, filling machines, transfer pumps and conveyor filling systems. Established in the 1930's, we design and build our machines at our Lancashire factory and supply primarily to the UK food production industry. Due to the versatility and high-grade build of our machines, we supply many other industrial applications such as pharmaceutical, hygiene, health & beauty, pet food and automotive. Our machines are designed for hot or cold liquid, semi-liquid, and products with suspended particulates.
We can provide comprehensive product testing either at your premises or in our factory demonstration kitchen. Customers can visit us to conduct product trials with our technical team or alternatively they can arrange for product and containers to be sent to our factory and we'll conduct the testing on their behalf.
Following receipt of an order, a 3D model layout will be supplied for sign-off prior to manufacture taking place. As we provide a screen share facility, this means the customer can review their machine with our design department without leaving their own premises.
All manufacturing and assembly of our depositors and filling machinery takes place at our 50,000 sq ft factory in Lancashire. Each machine we manufacture meets CE approval, includes high quality components throughout, and demonstrates first class British manufacturing.

The Model 1000 range of standard depositors (Series 1 - 5) are designed for artisans, start-up firms, and medium to large scale food producers. These compact and hygienic food depositors provide damage free depositing of hot or cold liquid, semi-liquid and suspended solid products, and accurately fill most types or size of container..
The Model 1000 range of transfer pumps (Series 6) are designed for artisans, start-up firms, and medium to large scale food producers. These hygienic food pumps keep your production running and remove the need for an operator to manually fill depositor hoppers. They pump directly from cooking kettles, tote bins, mixing vessels or IBC, and provide damage free transfer of hot or cold liquid, semi-liquid and suspended solid products.
The Model 1001 range of bespoke depositors are designed and built to meet each client's specific production needs. These range from compact semi-automatic depositors with foot pedal control, through to multi-pump automatic depositors for conveyors, VFFS or rotary pot machines.
The Model 1002 range of conveyor filling systems are bespoke designed and built to meet each client's specific production needs. Suitable for small, medium or large scale food producers, they provide damage free depositing of hot or cold liquid, semi-liquid and suspended solid products, and accurately fill most types or size of container.
Our range of ancillary equipment includes decorating heads and cut-off valves, semi-automatic cappers. lid pressing machines, rotary tables, bag press systems and pouch opening devices.
